XYZprinting is partnering with Sicnova, a recognized provider of large-format industrial grade 3D printers to expand the availability of industrial strength plastic production systems under the XYZprinting brand. These printers are specifically tailored for manufacturing jigs and fixtures for functional end use parts.
Today’s announcement underscores XYZprinting’s commitment to bringing together the best and brightest industry players and to act as a catalyst in growing the 3D printing industry. With Sicnova’s 3D printers as part of XYZprinting’s own branded portfolio, the company can take its digital manufacturing capabilities to the next level, leveraging some of the largest format precision engineered plastics printers available on the market today.
Sicnova’s flagship large format 3D printers combine the robustness and superior capabilities of industrial grade printers with advanced engineered materials and the ability to print very large objects of up to 1,000 x 600 x 600mm at convincing speeds of 1,000mm per hour and accuracy of 50 microns. Hardware includes a controlled print chamber with heated bed, auto levelling calibration and precision industrial motor controllers. It boasts twin 1.75mm printheads with interchangeable nozzles that deliver exceptional surface quality and accuracy.
XYZprinting plans to bring to market its own branded version of the JCR 1000 and JCR 600 printer in second half of 2018 and sell them through its rapidly expanding professional 3D printing channel.
