(PresseBox) - ?Since 2003, at LAB we have incorporated more than 60 interns, some of whom are currently an indispensable part of our team.?
With these words Mª Elena Hernández, manager of Bioclínico Analytical Laboratory, began her speech of thanks at the Ícaro Awards held at the University of Almeria.
In 2002, the University of Almería developed the Icaro computer application to support their Employment Service. This application has become one of the portals for internships and employment in the most important university field in Spain.
The companies participating in this program, among which is LAB, have contributed to the employment of students and graduates. During the gala, LAB was receiving the Icarus Insert Award, for having incorporated the biggest number of university students after completing their internships.
Mª Elena Hernández affirms that business practices are a powerful collaboration tool between the University and the company: ?It allows us to meet students professionally and coexist with them. Without a doubt, it is a rewarding experience for both parties ? They learn from us, but also, we from them. ?
