Test flights have started at ISG´s first freefall simulator with round flight chamber in Berlin
Gladbeck, 11. October 2017. Last weekend, ISG has started the fans at its new freefall simulator in Berlin for the first time. First test runs were successfully completed and first test flights have started.
(firmenpresse) - The wind tunnel with its newly designed round flight chamber was manufactured and installed by Indoor Skydiving Germany Group (ISG), German manufacturer of high performance freefall simulators with a unique high quality airflow system.
ISG is happy to announce that the opening of the wind tunnel is planned for end of October.
“ This is already our third project together with the Austrian Windobona Group and we are proudly looking forward to work on further Windobona projects in the next years,” says Boris Nebe, ISG Managing Director. “Our returning customers make us feel that we are doing right in our business. The quality of the airflow in our first round flight chamber is as good as expected and is in line with our supreme standards.”
The wind tunnel technology of ISG-Group was developed in cooperation with the aerospace department of the Technical University of Berlin and other aeronautical engineering companies and is internationally recognized for its energy efficiency, safety and airflow quality. The first reference facility opened in 2009 in Bottrop, Germany (Indoor Skydiving Bottrop GmbH – www.indoor-skydiving.com). Since then ISG-Group has built and started multiple wind tunnel facilities for customers; many additional projects are in construction or planning phase.
