Extension of the STYLE-CASE enclosure range
For the STYLE-CASE range of hand-held enclosures, OKW Gehäusesysteme has enlarged its programme with two more sizes, thus rounding off the range with practical products.
(firmenpresse) - The special feature of the enclosure family is the elegant, brilliant gloss finish and the ergonomic shape.
In addition to the STYLE-CASE in the L version, the sizes S and M are now also available. The enclosures are designed as three-part units, with a top and bottom part and a battery compartment lid. Each version has an integrated battery compartment and is thus ideally equipped for mobile use. Matching sets of battery clips are available as accessories. The STYLE-CASE has an elegant appearance thanks to its highly polished surface and thus represents a design highlight for modern hand-held devices. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and facilitates work in any application. A further special feature of the enclosure is the sweeping design when viewed from the side. In addition to the STYLE-CASE L with the dimensions (L x W x H) 166 x 64 x 31 mm, it is now also available in the sizes S with 123 x 48 x 24 mm and M with 147 x 56 x 27 mm. All versions are available in the colours traffic white (RAL 9016) made of ASA with high UV protection, or in black (RAL 9005) made of the infrared-permeable material PMMA (Perspex). For optimum protection of the electronics, a sealing kit to increase the degree of protection is offered as an accessory. Thanks to the recessed surfaces in the top part, decor foils and membrane keypads can be safely positioned. There are enough fastening pillars for mounting printed circuit boards and other components. Suitable self-tapping screws are available in the range of accessories. The STYLE-CASE is ideal for remote controls of all sorts, especially in the hospital and social sectors, in the household and in industry.
In order to modify the enclosure according to customers'' wishes, various processing and finishing options are possible: mechanical processing for interfaces, painting and printing, a functional EMC aluminium coating on the inside of the enclosure, special colours to comply with CI guidelines.
