(TSX VENTURE: CLV) ("Canoe" or the "Company") wishes to announce that further to the Company''s news release dated September 1, 2017, the Company has closed the non-brokered private placement financing (the "Private Placement") and has issued a total of 20,000,000 common shares at a price of $0.05 per share for total gross proceeds of $1,000,000.
