Internal and external sensor data for digital services, such as predictive tool breakage monitoring or remote maintenance, are just a few of many implemented projects.

The KNUTH booth features a live demonstration of how machines can be interlinked, and shows some of the new possibilities that arise from digitalized, visualized and continuously monitored operating conditions. This is only possible with a strong an innovative partner: MindSphere is the open, cloud-based IoT operating system from Siemens that lets customers connect their machines and physical infrastructure to the digital world.

EMO 2017 visitors can experience a live demonstration of MindSphere, which is integrated in the KNUTH X.mill M640 touch CNC Vertical Machining Center. Our bestseller with mineral-casting base is optionally available with the latest generation of Siemens 828 D controls, featuring an improved user interface with a new, very robust touch screen.
Additionally, KNUTH will present EMO visitors an overview of its comprehensive portfolio of new and proven machines.
