The new PLUS machines come with Pinpoint Placement; the ability to undo and redo steps while editing; an option to group or ungroup designs; rearrange custom design layer stitch-out sequences or toggle between millimeter and inches. Additionally, the Embroidery Consultant helps embroiderers choose the correct foot, needle, thread and stabilizer in order to achieve the best results. Other embroidery features include: a thread away mode on/off option; Invisible and Smart Secure and a thread up function. The PLUS machines come with 58 new embroidery designs for a total of up to 462; 4 project designs; and 10 alphabets for a total of up to 21. The new BERNINA Midi Hoop is optional with the purchase of a new PLUS machine. The B 880 PLUS MSRP is $14,999 and the B 790 PLUS MSRP is $12,499.
For those who currently own a BERNINA 880 or BERNINA 790, BERNINA is offering the BERNINA Embroidery PLUS Upgrade Pack that will give sewists the same embroidery features of the PLUS machines and includes the new BERNINA Midi Hoop. In addition, sewists will receive a BERNINA Midi Hoop user manual; a card with an upgrade activation key; upgrade activation instructions and a DVD loaded with the newest embroidery designs and alphabets.
