Completely protected 12" Panel PC in a rugged aluminum housing with M12 connectors and extended temperature range for outdoor applications in extreme environments.
(firmenpresse) - Outdoor applications such as washing systems or HMI applications in extreme environments place high demands on dust and splash water protection, vibration and temperature resistance of the devices used. ICP Deutschland offers a suitable and particularly robust 12.1" Panel PC with resistive or capacitive touch for these applications. The UPC-F12CM-ULT3 is enclosed in a completely IP66 protected aluminum housing and has a removable cover with six M12 plugs at the back. The six M12 connectors include a RS-232, a RS-232/422/485, a LAN, two USB 2.0 and a DC Jack interface. The UPC-F12CM-ULT3 is vibration-proof and watertight due to its screw locking and separate sealing. Based on a project, the temperature range of -20 ° C ~ + 60°C can be extended to -40°C via an additional heating element that is placed between the CPU and LCD. The redundant voltage input (12V ~ 36VDC) of the DC Jack and the terminal block provides additional safety in the case of power interruptions. The necessary computing power results from the integrated Intel® Skylake-ULT Core™ i5 or Celeron® processor and the up to max. 32GB DDR4 memory. Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated Wi-Fi function enable wireless communication on low bandwidth or at high speed. As an alternative, ICP also supplies the UPC-F12C as a standard variant without M12 connectors but in protection class IP65. At customer''s request, the robust Panel PCs are assembled as ready-to-use systems with memory, mass storage and Windows® operating system.
