Minneapolis, MN, June 27, 2017—Perforce Software, a provider of solutions to DevOps teams requiring massive scale, visibility and security along the development lifecycle, has been selected by Aristocrat Leisure Limited, a worldwide leader in gaming technology, to provide enterprise-grade version control and collaboration in support of its global digital production studios management initiatives to improve operational efficiencies across its global product teams and accelerate time to market of its market leading gaming technologies.
Aristocrat is a diverse and growing global business that recognizes the need to continually transform and evolve its IT and development systems in order to retain its leadership position in the face of growing competitive pressures. The company needed a next generation digital asset management platform to handle its globally distributed assets – particularly large, binary media – with a high-performance distributed architecture capable of moving product content between different gaming segments at high speeds. Aristocrat plans to migrate its digital content and source code from legacy repositories and version control systems into the Perforce Helix Version Control System for a single source of truth that will scale with the company’s growth, allow for sharing of all digital assets between studios, business units and third parties, as well as provide control and protection over all access to its valuable IP.
