Smart quality assurance for intelligent IT: The Software-QS-Tag 2017 provides knowhow, tools and best practices
Moehrendorf, 14 June 2017 – Today, every single business unit in every company is affected by accelerated digital transformation: from using new digital infrastructures and developing digital applications to digital business models and value-adding networks. The digital transformation invades the private sphere at a very high pace – everything becomes smart. The Software-QS-Tag discusses the challenges for QA and testing in this development – and it shows how to master them.
(firmenpresse) - Germany’s leading conference for software QA and testing takes place in Frankfurt on the Main on 19th and 20th October 2017. Under the heading „Digital Transformation – Evolution, Innovation, Disruption“ experts from economy, industry and research present new contexts, user stories and possible defects, which QA specialists face already today.
“The Internet of Things offers a wide range of new opportunities to its users”, explains Tilo Linz, chairman of the Software-QS-Tag programme committee. “In only a few years, various everyday objects will have the same capabilities like today’s smartphones thanks to installed sensors. Every single digital product in the Internet of Things has to function reliably – at low developing costs and shortest developing time.”
Attendees can customize their programme from around 60 lectures, workshops and tutorials. There are five parallel tracks about requirements and architecture, test automation, test design, test management and special topics. So attendees – from junior specialists up to senior managers – have the choice between deepening their professional knowledge in their specialized field and learning something new from the neighbouring disciplines. Solutions and best practices from the most different industries are presented.
German-language on-site trainings from the imbus Academy take place on the days before the conference: The ISTQB® Certified Tester trainings „Foundation Level“ and „Agile Tester Extension Foundation Level“ as well as the training „Exploratives Testen in agilen Projekten“ can be selected.
The Software-QS-Tag is accompanied by a technical exhibition with major tool manufacturers and service providers. A joint event dinner immediately after the first conference day completes the programme. The event hotel transforms into a stylish club location celebrating the Software-QS Party.
The Software-QS-Tag celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with a big anniversary event. The conference presents every year a new challenging key issue running like a golden thread through all slots of the conference. In a relaxed and collegial atmosphere the Software-QS-Tag provides space for attendees, speakers, tutorial and workshop instructors as well as exhibitors to swap ideas and do networking.
