HUBER+SUHNER to display latest Polatis, Cube Optics and RF solutions at OFC 2017
The leading international manufacturer will unveil the new Polatis Series 6000 Ultra range of fully non-blocking optical switches
(firmenpresse) - HUBER+SUHNER, leading international manufacturer of components and systems for optical and electrical connectivity, will be showcasing its latest solutions from Polatis and Cube Optics at OFC 2017 - the largest global conference and exhibition for optical communications and networking professionals - taking place March 21-23 in Los Angeles. The Swiss Company will also be launching the new shuttered LC connector COVERINO and MXPM, an excellent Multicoax connectivity solution for testing applications.
At Booth 2239, HUBER+SUHNER Polatis will unveil the new Series 6000 Ultra range of fully non-blocking all-optical switches, offering ultra-low loss optical performance of less than 1.0dB (0.5dB typ) from 4x4 to 32x32 ports in a compact 1RU size.
Polatis, the leading supplier of high performance dynamic all-optical switch solutions for software-defined network provisioning, protection, monitoring, reconfiguration and test, will display its reliable, field-proven DirectLight™ optical switch technology, which powers more than 2000 systems in-service worldwide and has created the industry’s broadest range of transparent, bidirectional, dark-fiber optical circuit switches from 4x4 to 384x384 ports.

Also highlighted at Booth 2239 will be integrated solutions that combine Polatis optical switch modules with HUBER+SUHNER’s innovative Fiber Management Systems - offering a new level of dynamic fiber connectivity for the data center and remote office - as well as optically-switched RF over Fiber connectivity for antenna remoting, together with all-optical switching solutions for C-RAN monitoring that enable sharing of centralized test equipment that can be scaled to manage thousands of fiber links.
At Booth 2119, HUBER+SUHNER Cube Optics will exhibit its successful components portfolio, including passive fiber optical components, Lambda Tosas, WDMs for network upgrade as well as the first shuttered LC connector and the new MXPM board connector.
OFC visitors can view Polatis solutions at Booth 2239 and Cube Optics solutions at Booth 2119 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
