IZO(TM) SDWAN Select Service Leverages Versa FlexVNF Software in 20 Cloud Gateways to Deliver Global Reach
(firmenpresse) - SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/20/16 -- today announced that it has been deployed by Tata Communications as the software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) vendor for one of the variants of its new managed SD-WAN offering, the service.
Leveraging Versa''s comprehensive suite of virtual network and security functions (VNFs), the IZO™ SDWAN Select service is a purely software-based SD-WAN that provides its customers with a managed service that brings them greater business agility through application level visibility, control and integrated security. It utilizes Versa''s multi-tenant SD-WAN solution in its 20 cloud gateways globally. At customers'' branch offices, Tata Communications deploys Versa multi-tenant SD-WAN software on non-proprietary x86 appliances to enable integrated network and security, with instant scalability -- much more effectively than using separate hardware appliances.
Tata Communications has developed multiple variants of IZO™ SDWAN to suit its customers'' different business and technology requirements. These variants consist of its own patent-pending technology (IZO™ SDWAN Prime), and one that builds on technology supplied by Versa (IZO™ SDWAN Select).
