Luvu Brands Expands Jaxx Production Line
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/20/16 -- Luvu Brands, Inc. (OTCQB: LUVU), a manufacturer and marketer of premium consumer brands in the wellness, lifestyle and fashion seating categories, today announced the expansion of its conveyor-based sewing system.
The unit production system expansion was installed earlier this month and increased the Company''s conveyor sewing capacity for Jaxx and Avana products by approximately 50%. Combined sales of Jaxx and Avana products increased 31% in fiscal 2016 over the prior year, and this additional automation will allow the Company to keep pace with the continued strong demand for these products. The Jaxx product line includes beanbags, solid foam furniture and foam-filled seating for kids and adults. Avana products are "top of bed" comfort products including bed wedges, mattress toppers, pillows and bed rest support systems.
