Ingram Micro Supports Community With Philanthropic Golf Outing
Annual Gathering of Associates, Partners Delivers More Than $150,000 for Charitable Organizations
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/17/16 -- This Saturday, Oct. 15, the Irvine headquarters of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) will host its annual West Coast Charity Golf Classic and Wine Tasting at Pelican Hill''s South Ocean Course in Newport Coast. The annual fundraising event is expected to raise more than $150,000 that will benefit four local charities:
"Support for our community is a commitment embedded in the Ingram Micro culture and our associates and manufacturer partners are incredibly generous when it comes to supporting this region and especially this event," said Tim Ament, SVP of Advanced Solutions, Ingram Micro U.S. and executive sponsor of the annual golf classic. "The entire Irvine team looks forward to this event, and work tirelessly for its success while also having a lot of fun."
This year''s event will include more than 130 golfers and is made possible by a team of more than 30 volunteers, as well as the support of the event''s major sponsors -- Cisco, Ergotron Jabra, KPMG and Samsung, along with nearly 40 other sponsors. In conjunction with the golf tournament, a wine and food tasting event will be held that day from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m., an option for those who may not be golfers but want to support this philanthropic effort.
