(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 09/12/16 -- INCEPTION MINING INC. (OTCQB: IMII) ("Inception" or the "Company") announces that 2016 year-to-date production at its Cerros del Sur operation in Honduras has exceeded 2015 total production.
The Cerros del Sur operation continues to make improvements in operations and recovery, along with expanding its ore resources. Mine management has secured additional mineable properties on its concession and several adjacent landowners have now placed the surface rights of their lands under contract with the mine. Though coming into the rainy season, we still expect to show a gain over 2015 production, marking the best year in the mine''s history. The recovery rate for gold has averaged 1.69 grams per ton through August 2016.
The Cerros del Sur operation operates as a subsidiary of Clavo Rico Ltd., itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, having positive revenue and significant resources. Its mining concessions include several historical underground operations dating back to the early Spanish occupation. The operating entity is engaged in processing a historical tailings body of less than two grams per ton, along with several open pit ore bodies of three to six grams per ton, utilizing a new 650,000-ton membrane lined leach system and ADR recovery plant.
