Hemostemix Announces Results of Annual and Special Meeting

("Hemostemix" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: HEM)(OTCQX: HMTXF) announces the results from its 2016 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders. At the meeting, the shareholders approved fixing the number of directors at four, elected the following to serve as board members until the next annual election of directors: Robert J. Bard, Robert L. Buckler, Angus Jenkins and Victor Redekop and approved the appointment of MNP LLP, as the Company''s auditor for the ensuing year. In addition, the rolling Stock Option Plan, the Advanced Notice By-law and the Enhanced Quorum By-law were approved.
