Schäfer Additivsysteme GmbH broaden business to China
(firmenpresse) - Ludwigshafen, Aug. 31, 2016 (sas) – Schäfer Additivsysteme GmbH expands to China with their new stabilizers and catalysts (e.g. CAS: 1809-14-9; 91273-04-0; 59656-20-1; 110675-26-8; 31563-86-7)
Schäfer-Additivsysteme Ltd. and Shanghai Rainbow Industrial Co. Ltd. establish a mutual co-operation and signed a distribution agreement with object to market and to provide additives and customized additive systems for the plastics and lubricants for manufacturers in China.
„Together with our business partner, Shanghai Rainbow Industrial Co., Ltd., we will adjust to the forthcoming changes and transformation pro-cesses within the European chemical industry. With this distribution concept we will have good opportunities to offer our product portfolio which is already well established under the brand name “LUBIO” in one of the biggest and fastest growing markets”, said Dr. Volker Schäfer, CEO of Schäfer Additivsysteme Ltd.
Taylor-made additives, e.g. as aging protection for plastics or anti-wear additives for the lubricant industry will become more and more im-portant also in China and will ensure increasing sales. The collabora-tion with Shanghai Rainbow Industrial Co., Ltd. enables a smooth communication with our future customers, certainly will accelerate the supply chain of requested product and will provide an excellent cus-tomer service.

Schäfer-Additivsysteme GmbH was founded in November 2003 with the aim to provide manufacturers rubber, plastics and lubricants but also enterprises of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry with ino-vative and custom-made products and additive systems. Schäfer Addi-tivsysteme is located in Ludwigshafen/Rhein. Dr. Volker Schäfer, own-er of the company, worked for many years in several companies in the area of R&D, Operations and Sales at well-known producers of addi-tives and fine chemicals. Numerous patents and publications express his strong experience and outstanding know-how in the field of addi-tives as well as performance and fine chemicals. Product will be also developed in close co-operation with universities, colleges and chemi-cal companies.
