Series of Symposia Will Address 'Best Practice' Ways to Manage Medical Marijuana Issues

With the legalization of medical marijuana up for approval by voters in November, business people are hurrying to prepare themselves to meet the demand that is sure to follow. These sessions, called "Ask the Cannabis Experts," are designed to allow potential entrepreneurs to share in the knowledge that others across the nation have already gained in the cannabis industry, including:
Application processing
Opportunity assessment
Seed-to-sale traceability
Dispensary, cultivation and manufacturing/processing
Record keeping and cash management

The first of the series'' three, all-day sessions will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Sept. 10 at The Westin; and on a first-come, first-served basis, at $295 per registration. The following two sessions, with essentially identical agendas, will be held at the Holiday Inn-Miami Beach Oceanfront Sept. 11; and at the Ramada Tampa Airport Westshore Oct. 1.
