IHSE premium KVM extender reaches unprecedented color depth of 30 bit
(PresseBox) - The Draco ultra DisplayPort Extender, developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits, is regarded as one of the best available KVM products; providing outstanding video quality at 4K/UHD resolution at 60 Hz frame rate with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.
A new version of this extender increases the color depth from 24 bit (True Color) video to 30 bit (Deep Color).
With 30 bit (10 bits per color), images maintain their full quality, high contrast and natural appearance. Video can be transmitted over a single fiber optic cable at distances up to 10 km using this extender.
The Draco ultra DisplayPort extender also features redundant interconnection options for greater reliability in broadcast and other mission-critical applications.
Visitors to IBC can experience the quality of the new Draco ultra DP on stand 7.B30 from the 9th-13th September 2016. The IHSE exhibition team will be available to demonstrate the superlative quality using of the extender in handling 30-bit color on an Eyevis eyeLCD 5000 QHD Monitor.
