Board Changes at AlarmForce
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 08/05/16 -- As previously announced by AlarmForce Industries Inc. (TSX: AF) ("Alarmforce" or the "Company") on April 27, 2016, George Christopolous received more votes withheld than votes in favour of his re-election as a director at the Company''s annual meeting of shareholders held on April 26, 2016. In accordance with the Company''s majority voting policy, Mr. Christopolous has submitted his resignation as a director of the Company effective August 4, 2016 and such resignation has been accepted. The governance and nomination committee of the board of directors (the "Board") will assess the Company''s governance needs in light of his resignation and the Board will announce its intentions relative to the vacant seat by the end of October 2016.
