Shogun Capital Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors and Management

(NEX: SHO.H) (the "Company") wishes to announce the following changes to the Company''s management: Harry Chew will replace Ravi Sood as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary with Mr. Sood remaining as a director; and Richard Kimel and Michael Galego will resign as directors, and Sonny Chew will be appointed as a director.
Harry Chew is a current director of the Company and is the former Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Chew is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Pacific Paragon Group of Companies ("Pacific Paragon"), a management and financial consulting company. Mr. Chew has been a director and officer of a number of other reporting issuers in Canada, including Pacific Stratus Ventures Ltd., Firestone Ventures Inc., Pacific Rodera Energy Inc., Cierra Pacific Ventures Ltd. and Bi-Optic Ventures Inc. Mr. Chew is a Certified General Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. Mr. Chew has the appropriate experience, qualifications and history with reporting issuers in Canada to serve as an officer of the Company.
Sonny Chew is a former director of the Company. Mr. Chew is President of Wynson Management Services Ltd., a management and bookkeeping consulting company, and Director of Finance and Administration of Pacific Paragon. Mr. Chew has also been a director and officer of a number of other reporting issuers in Canada, including Pacific Stratus Ventures Ltd., Firestone Ventures Inc., Pacific Rodera Energy Inc., Cierra Pacific Ventures Ltd. and Bi-Optic Ventures Inc. Mr. Chew has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. Mr. Chew has the appropriate experience, qualifications and history with reporting issuers in Canada to serve as a director of the Company.
In connection with this change in board membership and management, Mr. Kimel agreed to sell a total of 100,000 common shares to the incoming director, Sonny Chew. Such transferred shares are currently held in escrow pursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and will remain in escrow following the transfer.
