Sauce Labs Launches Training Program for Automated Testing
Courses to Cover Basic to Advanced Topics in Web and Mobile Testing Using Selenium and Appium

"As more companies advance in their software development journey toward Agile and DevOps, they are discovering there is little in the way of instructor-led training for those that want to learn the most popular frameworks for functional testing," said Charles Ramsey, CEO of Sauce Labs. "While most organizations understand that automated testing is the answer to accelerating their releases, there is a lack of knowledge on how to use the open source standards for automated testing: Selenium and Appium."
According to a recent survey sponsored by Sauce Labs of mobile device developers and testers around the world, "no time to learn how to use an automated solution" was the number one reason given for why their company was not yet using automated testing as part of their web and mobile application delivery pipeline. The new training by Sauce Labs will remove this barrier. The program offers an opportunity to learn from the experts, as Sauce Labs co-developed Selenium and is extensively involved in the development and maintenance of Appium.
In addition to automated testing fundamentals, courses also cover best practices and useful how-to tips, so developers and quality engineers can start testing right away, and then develop better tests in a lot less time. The program includes live-online and onsite courses limited to 15 people each -- ensuring personal attention from instructors. All classes include extensive hands-on labs.
