The main aim was to offer a mold that was both safe and easy to use. Silicone was the perfect answer--no concern about whether plastic was really safe and a flexible material that would neither crack nor break.
Patti Miner, founder of Treats by Patti, says: "The first plastic mold I sampled fell over when I removed the first pop; it was unbalanced. I wanted a way to make traditional popsicles with a mold that was easy to use, and so the idea of Simpler Treats Silicone Popsicle Molds with Reusable Sticks was born. It''s a silicone mold with sticks. Most silicone molds are push-up pops. Our molds enable the user to make traditional popsicles using a safe material.
