TORONTO, ON - 07/13/16 - 3BL Media, the corporate communications platform for corporate social responsibility and sustainability news and content, has formed a news distribution partnership with the Global Compact Network Canada (GCNC), the Canadian Chapter of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).
Starting in July, 2016, the GCNC will display news, articles, multimedia and other digital content from 3BL Media clients on the GCNC website. The active Canadian network of responsible businesses and sustainability leaders will also begin distributing its own news over the 3BL Media and CSRwire networks.
"At the GCNC, we strive to help Canadian companies align their core business strategies with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 10 UNGC Principles through the facilitation of peer learning and multi-stakeholder dialogue. The Roundtable we hosted last month with the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Canada''s Minister for Environment and Climate Change, is a great example of the GCNC''s dedication to building the capacity of the Canadian private sector," said Helle Bank Jorgensen, President of the GCNC. "The GCNC and Network Participants share a similar mission with 3BL and its content curators so this partnership is a perfect fit for our Network."
The GCNC is the latest to join 3BL Media, which is a fast growing network of 100+ affiliate sites displaying news and content. Other affiliates include the Amsterdam-based Global Reporting Initiative, Boston-based Ceres and the Seattle-based International Future Living Institute.
