First-Ever Collaboration Between Golden Melody Awards and Twitter Showcased Cpop Royalty to the World
(firmenpresse) - SINGAPORE -- (Marketwired) -- 06/29/16 -- For the first-time ever, Twitter and the Golden Melody Awards worked together to bring the prestigious music awards ceremony to life for Chinese fans globally. Cpop lovers around the world followed ''s official Twitter and Periscope accounts to see all the action from the red carpet to the awards ceremony last Saturday in Taipei. To make it even more fun for Cpop fans worldwide, Twitter created its first-ever emoji for a Chinese music award show, so that any Tweet using #2016GMA automatically displayed the Golden Melody Awards logo after these hashtags.
Launched by the wildly popular Cpop artist Jam Hsiao () on June 23rd, the Golden Melody Awards emoji has been viewed over 13 million times on Twitter. The emoji will be live until the end of June to extend the fun conversations about the award show on Twitter:
