Khalkos Exploration Inc.: Closing of Private Placement for $261,302
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/22/16 -- KHALKOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE: KAS) completed today the closing of a non-brokered private placement of units for an amount of $ 261,302. Khalkos issued 2,010,016 units at the price of $ 0.13 per unit. Each unit includes one common share of Khalkos and one warrant. Each warrant gives its holder the right to purchase one common share at $ 0.16 until December 22, 2017. Two directors, the principal shareholder of Khalkos and a company controlled by the president of Khalkos have subscribed in the financing for a total of $ 52,152. The securities issued are subject to a hold period of four months and one day. The private placement has received the conditional approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
The proceeds of the placement will be used primarily to carry out exploration on the Malartic gold property in the mining camp with the same name located 30 km northwest of Val-d''Or and the Belleterre property located 120 km south of Rouyn-Noranda as well as for administrative purposes.
