The hospital houses more than 130 beds with over 800 frontline staff and 70 physicians. The hospital is a leader in state-of-the-art telecommunications that connects physicians and staff to medical practitioners and specialists throughout Canada.
The hospital''s existing phone-based dictation installation couldn''t keep up with the latest modern technology. The new Audioworxs implementation will enable the hospital to capture physician dictation and consultation using the hospital''s new VoIP phone system and utilize a secure virtual server environment to maximize efficiency while minimizing infrastructure outlay.
From their private cloud, the hospital''s authorized transcriptionists can access voice files for efficient transcription while maintaining the highest level of cybersecurity and privacy.
