Northview Welcomes Its Residents Back to Fort McMurray
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/02/16 -- Northview Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: NVU.UN)("Northview" or the "REIT") announced today that all of its 17 buildings in Fort McMurray sustained no major damage from the fires, and only minimal restoration will be required. In addition, Northview residents have successfully begun to return to their homes, in accordance with the Province of Alberta''s re-entry schedule.

"Our buildings are fully operational and safe, and we will continue with our final cleanup throughout the month of June. We greatly appreciate the efforts of the first responders and other organizations that are assisting in welcoming our residents and employees back to Fort McMurray."
Northview previously announced that their Fort McMurray residents that have been displaced by the devastating wildfires will not be charged rent for the months of May and June 2016. Northview Fort McMurray residents who paid rent for the month of May will have those payments credited to July rent, and payments have not been processed for their June rent.
Northview stresses the importance of reviewing the re-entry packages provided by the province before residents return and reminds those with medical conditions as identified by the province to delay their re-entry.
