UPDATE - Riverside Risk Advisors Expands Its Commodities Hedging Advisory Business
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/25/16 -- Silio Aparicio has joined independent derivatives advisory firm Riverside Risk Advisors ("Riverside") as a Managing Director. Previously, Aparicio was a Director at BNP Paribas in New York and Lead Manager of commodity derivative sales and origination for corporate and government institutions in Latin America. He developed commodity-linked transactions for the bank, specializing in energy, metals and soft commodities. He also provided extensive structuring expertise to clients of the bank in the area of prepays, inventory finance and structured finance linked hedging. Aparicio oversaw the commodities derivatives business across five Latin American countries including Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2007, Aparicio was a Vice President at JPMorgan in the London-based Commodity Investments Group. He was responsible for structuring, pricing and executing FX and commodity derivatives in the European, Asian and Middle East markets to the bank''s institutional investor clients.

Jonathan Landais also recently joined Riverside as an Associate. Prior to Société Générale, Landais was in Paris in the M&A Group at Edmond de Rothschild and Exane Derivatives, an affiliate of BNP Paribas where he was part of the leading convertible bond research team in Europe.
