Independent Swiss watch manufacturer Zeitwinkel celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2016. Also in the anniversary year, Zeitwinkel remains true to its philosophy and carefully develops its classic line of hand-made watches with in-house manufacture movements

Zeitwinkel introduces the new model 082° émail grand feu.
For the creation of its latest model, Zeitwinkel comes back to the traditional process of enamelling, using the complex technique “émail grand feu”. This operation demands masterly skills and a perfect controlling of high temperature and materials, but is able to create a brilliant enamel dial of Zeitwinkel’s new timepiece 082° émail grand feu in everlasting beauty.
Due to the combination of elaborate technique, high quality, and timeless consistency, the new enamel watch is perfectly in line with Zeitwinkel’s basic principle of how a watch for life should be made.
Along with this model series Zeitwinkel inserts innovations that might even surprise connoisseurs of the brand: The 082° émail grand feu is the first Zeitwinkel watch with a numeric time scale. Easily readable Arabic numbers in Zeitwinkel’s proprietary font lend the new timekeeper a modern design and fresh look. With the 082° émail grand feu – unconventional in enamel-blue writing – celebrates the renaissance of modern vitreous enamelling and enamel dials.
The new Zeitwinkel model 082° émail grand feu will be launched in two options, in a monochrome blue version and an alternative where a red minuterie accentuates the extraordinary blue-coloured hour display.
Zeitwinkel’s novelty will be available from July 2016 on.

Zeitwinkel is an independent manufacture of high-end mechanical timepieces from Switzerland. The central core of every Zeitwinkel watch is the in-house manufacture movement which was developed over a period of four years. Since the beginnings in 2006, the company follows an unusual approach by creating its own in-house movements, its unique watch cases and by sticking to traditional manufacturing methods.
All Zeitwinkel watches and movements are assembled by hand by a team of watchmakers in the Swiss Jura Mountains. All components are made in the region and are therefore “Real Swiss Made”. Thanks to the small quantities produced, the watches will always remain unique and exclusive.
