(TSX VENTURE: ECT) (the "Company") announces the appointment of Mr. Mark Korol as a director of the Company, for a term expiring at the closing of the next annual meeting of the shareholders or until his successor is elected or appointed. Mr. Korol has also been appointed as a member of the audit committee of the Corporation. Mr. Korol''s appointment is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

The Company, through its indirect operating subsidiary, ECTW, focuses on setting up operations support systems ("OSS"), being systems which control and monitor network activities, for many communication service providers, including mobile network providers, fixed line telephone operators, cable operators and internet service providers (ISPs) in Taiwan.
