ONEnergy Inc. Announces Results of 2016 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/17/16 -- ONEnergy Inc. ("ONEnergy" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: OEG), a fast-growing, dynamic energy management firm serving commercial, industrial, multi-residential and residential customers in Canada and the U.S. via its ONEnergy™ and Sunwave™-branded energy and energy-efficiency businesses announces the results of its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting"), held on May 17, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario.
A total of 11,856,628 common shares, representing approximately 49.15% of the issued and outstanding common shares as of the record date for the Meeting, were represented in person or by proxy at the meeting.
At the Meeting, shareholders approved the re-election of Stanley Hartt, Stephen J.J. Letwin, David Rattee and Lawrence Silber as directors of the Corporation, and approved the re-appointment of BDO Canada LLP as auditors of the Corporation.
Shareholders also approved the resolution confirming a new general By-Law, By-Law No. 1, of the Corporation which was adopted by the Board of Directors of the Corporation following the continuance from the Federal jurisdiction under the Canada Business Corporations Act to the Ontario jurisdiction under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario).
