Event Tech Talks will be held at KPMG’s brand new Huckletree site on Tuesday 21st June, from 2pm – 5pm. The event will see three panel sessions recorded in front of a live audience and streamed via Event Industry News. Topics are:
How are social media giants tailoring technology for events?
Major social media platforms such as Twitter’s periscope, Facebook and Beme have recently made big moves to allow individuals and brands to live stream and share our experiences at events. This session will discuss how some of the technology currently works and what it could mean for the future of events.
How is technology changing the attendee experience?
This panel discussion will look at how audiences currently interact at events and examine how Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and other fringe technologies that might play a role in the future.
Technology, enhancement or distraction?
This debate will ask the question; is technology enhancing events or is it becoming a distraction?
Each panel will include three or four industry thought leaders, with approximately 50 guests expected to attend from all sectors of the event industry, attendees will be encouraged to interact with panellists and ask questions in the live environment.

In addition, Event Industry News, Event Tech Live and the Event Technology Awards will also deliver five event tech focused Webinars, one per day, throughout London Technology Week. Webinar hosts already confirmed include Event Tech Live exhibitors: Ottervibe, Poken , Glisser, Konduko and Showplans. These webinars will offer advice on how to use event technology effectively across a range of key areas such as engagement, revenue, ROI and social media.
