Michael Hurley Brings Over 33 Years of Telecom Experience to the Role
(firmenpresse) - KANSAS CITY, MO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/12/16 -- Unite Private Networks (UPN) a leading provider of high-capacity, fiber-based communication networks, announced today that Michael Hurley, a member of the founding executive team of Fibertech Networks, was appointed to the company''s board of directors.

Hurley served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fibertech Networks overseeing sales, marketing and business development organizations from its inception in May of 2000 until its conclusion in August 2015. During that time, Fibertech''s sales organization sold contracts worth over $2.5 billion and received grades as the top sales organization in its industry each year from 2007 - 2014. Hurley joined Lightower as a division president through the merger with Fibertech Networks and stayed on through the transition.
Previously, Hurley held various sales positions at MCI, Frontier Corporation, and New England Telephone.

Mr. Hurley earned a BS degree in Marketing from Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester.
