ATCO Donates 10,000 Meals to Emergency Responders
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/11/16 -- Today, ATCO announced the donation of 10,000 meals to emergency responders supporting ongoing recovery efforts in Fort McMurray. The meals will be distributed over the coming weeks through ATCO work camps which have been deployed to house emergency personnel. The company has more than 4,000 beds in the region and provides a home away from home for workers in the area and those rebuilding the community.

ATCO has been actively involved in response efforts in the community since the fires began, including housing evacuees at its Creeburn Lake and Barge Landing lodges following the mandatory evacuation of Fort McMurray. Today, more than 250 ATCO employees are on the ground in the community, working to restore electricity and natural gas service, as well as providing logistical and workforce housing support.
