L'ISOLANTE K-FLEX to sell the insulation system in the European Economic Area and Russia / Customers to receive in-country support / Huge cost savings thanks to better insulated industrial plants
(PresseBox) - ContiTech is intensifying sales of its Conti Thermo-Protect (CTP) insulation system and has formed a sales partnership with Italian company L''ISOLANTE K-FLEX to this effect. Both companies announced the partnership at the IEX Insulation Expo Europe in Cologne.
L''ISOLANTE K-FLEX GmbH will sell Conti Thermo-Protect in the 31 countries of the European Economic Area (excluding the Netherlands) and Russia. As a consequence, ContiTech is expanding the field of application of its K-FLEX insulating materials beyond the previous maximum value of +150°C to +250°C, ensuring that it can provide its customers with a wider range of products. Thanks to the collaboration, ContiTech gains access to the well-established sales network of L''ISOLANTE K-FLEX and can therefore offer its insulation system to a larger market. Customers can purchase the material more easily and receive support in their own country.
The multi-award-winning Conti Thermo-Protect insulation material can insulate even complex ducting and piping systems in heating or hydraulic systems, thermal oil installations, and vulcanization presses easily and efficiently against heat loss. The ductile silicone material even insulates fittings and valves in places where efficient insulation was not previously possible, and shields them reliably against heat loss. The workable material can be used within an ambient temperature range of -50°C to +250°C. Using heat from the system or machine, Conti Thermo-Protect now self-vulcanizes at temperatures above 80°C. This yields enormous savings in energy, CO2 emissions, and costs.
