First Quantum Announces Voting Results for Election of Directors

("First Quantum" or the "Company")(TSX: FM)(LSE: FQM) today announced that the nominees listed in the Management Information Circular for the 2016 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders were elected as directors of First Quantum. 526,955,069 shares were voted at the meeting, representing 76.44% of the issued and outstanding shares of the Company.
