Mullen Group Ltd. Announces Election of Directors and Independent Lead Director
(firmenpresse) - OKOTOKS, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/04/16 -- Mullen Group Ltd. ("Mullen Group" and/or the "Corporation") (TSX: MTL) announced today that the nominees listed in the Corporation''s Information Circular - Proxy Statement dated March 17, 2016, were elected as directors of the Corporation at its annual general meeting held on May 3, 2016.
By resolution passed via ballot, the following seven nominees were elected as directors of the Corporation to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders of the Corporation, or until their successors are elected or appointed. The results of the ballot were as follows:
Independent Lead Director
The Corporation also announced today that after the annual general meeting, Mr. Greg Bay replaced Mr. Alan D. Archibald, as Chairman of its Compensation, Nomination and Governance Committee and will act as Lead Director of its Board of Directors (the "Board"). Mr. Bay is an independent director who has served on Mullen Group''s Board since 2005.
