(TSX: TCW) announces that Don Luft, President and Chief Operating Officer, will be retiring as an officer and director of the company effective May 3, 2016. Don will also not be standing for re-election as a director at the upcoming Annual Meeting.
Don was instrumental in the transformation of Trican from a private entity into a public company in 1996, and in the success and growth of the company since that time. Don''s contribution as a Director and as the Chief Operating Officer has been invaluable and he will certainly be missed. Trican would like to thank Don for his many years of service and wises him well in his retirement and future endeavors.
Don''s position as Chief Operating Officer will not be replaced and Dale Dusterhoft will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer.
