Schaeffler receives quality award from Japan
Award from AISIN AW CO., LTD.
(PresseBox) - Japanese companies are known for their high process and quality requirements, and to receive an award from Japan - as Schaeffler has now done - is a particularly proud achievement.
The automotive supplier has received the so-called ?Project Contribution Award? from AISIN AW. Schaeffler supplies double turbine dampers with centrifugal pendulum-type absorber for the new AISIN AW 8-speed transmission and received the award for the outstanding collaboration and support during the volume production startup of the transmission in Japan.

?Our team is incredibly proud of this award?, said Dr. Peter Bührle, President of Schaeffler?s Transmission Technologies business unit, who accepted the prize from Shigeo Tsuzuki, Deputy Chief Officer Purchasing Division AISIN AW CO., LTD. in Bühl. The team has made an important contribution to successfully implementing future projects at Aisin. ?We regard this as a gesture of enormous appreciation and as proof of our excellent technological and manufacturing expertise?, said Bührle.
