Anterra Energy Announces Late Filings of Annual Disclosure

("Anterra" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: AE.A) today announces that the filing of its annual financial statements, management''s discussion and analysis and related CEO and CFO certifications for the year ended December 31, 2015, will be delayed beyond the filing deadline of April 29, 2016. As a result of ongoing industry-wide, economic challenges, there is a high degree of measurement uncertainty with respect to the appropriate carrying value of certain of the Company''s assets on its balance sheet and as a result the Company is unable to prepare its annual financial statements.
