(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/21/16 -- Tinka Resources Limited ("Tinka" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: TK)(OTC PINK: TKRFF) is pleased to announce that at the Company''s Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on April 21, 2016 (the "AGM"), Messrs. Graham Carman, Nick DeMare, David Henstridge, Ms. Yanina Barila and Ms. Mary Little were elected to serve as directors of the Company for the ensuing year. In addition, the following matters were approved at the AGM:

Subsequent to the AGM, the board of directors appointed Mr. Carman as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. DeMare as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Alvaro Fernandez-Baca as Vice President of Exploration and Ms. Mariana Bermudez as Corporate Secretary. Messrs. DeMare and Henstridge and Ms. Little have been appointed as members of the Audit Committee.
