EnergySolutions Sale of Projects, Products and Technology Division to Atkins Final
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 04/11/16 -- EnergySolutions, Inc. announced today that it has officially completed the sale of its Projects, Product and Technology (PP&T) business to WS Atkins plc, a UK listed design, engineering and project management consultancy company with operations around the world.
As previously announced, the sale of this division is part of a business strategy which will allow the company to place more emphasis on its core business capabilities which include transportation, logistics, processing and disposal (LP&D). In addition to the LP&D business EnergySolutions will retain its reactor decommissioning business, including current projects at Zion, IL and LaCrosse, WI, and its North American utility services, including liquid waste processing, fuel pool services, and other commercial projects.
