Cott Announces Details Relating to the 2016 Annual Meeting of Shareowners
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ON and TAMPA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 04/06/16 -- Cott Corporation (NYSE: COT) (TSX: BCB) ("" or the "") today announced that its 2016 Annual Meeting of Shareowners will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at the Park Hyatt in downtown Toronto. Cott decided to move the meeting to the downtown location, as opposed to the traditional airport location, in an effort to make the location of the meeting more convenient for its shareowners to attend.
At the meeting, shareowners will be asked to receive the financial statements for the year ended January 2, 2016 and the report on those statements by Cott''s independent registered certified public accounting firm, elect directors, approve the appointment of Cott''s independent registered certified public accounting firm and hold a non-binding advisory vote on executive compensation.
The meeting will be webcast live from Toronto, ON, Canada on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The live audio webcast will be available through the Company''s website at . The webcast will be recorded and archived for playback on the investor relations section of the website for two weeks following the event.
