Bill Brandt appointed to Ensyn''s Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK -- (Marketwired) -- 04/04/16 -- Dr. Robert Graham, Chairman of Ensyn Corporation, is pleased to announce that Bill Brandt has joined Ensyn''s Board of Directors effective April 1, 2016.
Bill Brandt has had a long and successful career in the energy business, with an early focus on oil & gas mergers and acquisitions and a more recent emphasis on renewable energy and technology acceleration. Mr. Brandt initiated his career with SOHIO (acquired by BP) in 1978 and in 1989 moved to BP''s mergers and acquisitions team where he served for 23 years, ultimately in the position of Director for M&A in Asia and also head of BP''s M&A capability development. Since 2010 Mr. Brandt has served as Director of Strategic Integration of ASU LightWorks, Arizona State University''s incubator and accelerator for renewable energy technologies. Mr. Brandt has a B.S. in Chemistry and Environmental Sciences from Principia College and an MBA from Wharton.

Ensyn produces biocrude from forest and agricultural residues that is suitable for both heating applications and further upgrading in existing oil refineries. Ensyn and its predecessor companies have been applying its proprietary RTP® technology for more than 25 years for the production of food ingredients, chemicals and heating fuels. Ensyn is now in the process of increasing production capacity deploying the same core RTP technology for a broader commercialization of its fuels business. Ensyn owns and operates a commercial production facility in Ontario, Canada from which it sells renewable heating fuels to industrial and commercial heating customers in the U.S. and Canada. Additional production capacity is under development in Quebec, Canada; Aracruz, Brazil; and in the U.S. State of Georgia.
