(firmenpresse) - CROFT Watches, a new micro-brand watch company, are pleased to announce today that they will be launching their first collection of watches, The Richmond, on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter on 20th April 2016.
The team sought to create CROFT Watches to produce high quality, luxury watches, without the brand inflation and excessive retail mark-ups many major brands apply today. Conceived in London, UK, and Designed in Melbourne, Australia, “ The Richmond ” has been influenced by both countries’ lifestyles.
They have spent past twelve months designing and working with their manufacturers to optimise both the production and retail processes, ensuring quality stays high, whilst costs stay low. They believe by reducing the middlemen who take a slice of the pie, consequently adding costs and mark-ups to the final price, they can deliver luxury at an affordable price.

About CROFT Watches
CROFT Watches is a small company which started with the one goal of creating affordable, high quality watches. To achieve this they set out to design a watch that is versatile to its surroundings, whilst engineering a watch that is durable for most environments.
The company was formed by Shaun Eldred and Tord Nilson who crossed paths at university way back in 2007! Shaun studied Product Design Engineering at university; he has previously worked in automotive manufacturing and now works as an Investment Consultant, so designing, engineering and crunching the financials was a perfect challenge for him. Tord currently heads up his own sports marketing agency that specialises in athlete management, content creation and marketing consulting within action sports.
