(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/30/16 -- Savanna Energy Services Corp. (TSX: SVY) has officially endorsed the Oil Respect campaign launched by the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contactors on February 17, 2016.
Christopher Strong, President and Chief Executive Officer stated, "It is extremely important for our company that fact-based discussions about oil and gas development in Canada occur throughout the country. Over the last 15 months Savanna has had to materially reduce its employee base in order to remain competitive and to make our business viable during these times of low commodity prices. We''re now asking our employees, past and present, to support Oil Respect by signing the petitions asking for recognition of the importance of the industry and to get pipelines built so that we can compete on a level playing field against foreign oil."

Oil Respect will fight against the misinformation spread by foreign celebrities, radical environmentalists and grandstanding politicians at a time when tens of thousands of people are without work and without hope for an immediate recovery.
