Duncan Park Announces Appointment of Acting President and CEO
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 03/29/16 -- Duncan Park Holdings Corporation (TSX VENTURE: DPH) announces that David R, Shaddrick has been appointed Acting President and CEO of the Company following the sudden passing of Ian McAvity.
Mr. Shaddrick has also been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company.
Mr. Shaddrick has served as a Director of the Company since 2011 and has over 40 years'' experience in the mining industry. He has been an officer, director and technical advisor for public and private companies; is active in several professional societies and has published numerous papers in technical journals.
Mr. Shaddrick holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology, a M.Sc. in Geology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and holds designations as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and is a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) from the American Institute of Professional Geologists.
