Buccaneer Gold Provides Corporate Update-Announces Appointment of Interim Chief Executive Officer and Date for Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 03/24/16 -- Buccaneer Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: BGG) ("Buccaneer" or the "Company") announces that Peter M. Clausi has been appointed as interim chief executive officer of the Company. Mr. Clausi replaces Paul Zyla in this role and will also continue to serve as a director of the Company. Mr. Zyla no longer serves as an executive officer of the Company but will continue in his role as a director.
The Company also announces that it will hold its 2016 annual and special meeting of shareholders at 10:00 am (eastern daylight time) on May 30, 2016 at the offices of Irwin Lowy LLP located at 365 Bay Street, Suite 400, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5H 2V1. The record date for determining the holders of the Corporation''s common shares entitled to vote at the annual and special meeting of shareholders is April 26, 2016.
