(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 03/24/16 -- Dominion Citrus Income Fund ("Fund") (TSX: DOM.UN) reports net earnings from continuing operations of $2,791,000 or $0.13 per unit for the year ended December 31, 2015 versus net earnings of $165,000 or $0.01 per unit for the previous year. The Fund had operating income of $287,000 in 2015 versus $1,480,000 in 2014. The Fund recognized gain on insurance recovery for an aggregate amount of $3,537,000 due to the fire in February 2015. Income tax expense of $505,000 and deferred tax expense of $408,000 in 2015 compared to income tax expense of $493,000 and deferred tax expense of $383,000 in 2014. Net earnings from discontinued operations was nil rounding to $0.00 per unit for the year ended December 31, 2015 versus a net earnings of $0.00 and rounding to $0.00 per unit for the year ended December 31, 2014.
